The Regional Secretariat of Finance has appointed Maria Ivone Gois Meneses to the 2nd degree intermediate management position as head of the Expropriations Division of the Regional Directorate of Heritage. The appointment, made on a commission basis for a period of three years, was published via Order no. 238/2026.
The decision, which takes effect from June 1, 2026, follows a competitive recruitment procedure previously opened by Notice no. 162/2026. Maria Ivone Gois Meneses, a law graduate, holds an extensive curriculum in human resources and heritage management, having previously worked at the Social Security Institute of Madeira, IP-RAM, and the Municipality of Ponta do Sol.
The new head of the Expropriations Division has specialized training in expropriations for public utility and administrative easements, skills that align with the requirements of the position now assumed within the Regional Secretariat of Finance structure.
