Through Regional Government Council Resolution no. 248/2026, the Madeiran executive defined the replacement mechanism for the representation of the Autonomous Region of Madeira at the General Assembly of Invest Madeira - Agency for Internationalization and Investment.
In the absence or unavailability of the specialist technician from the Office of the Regional Secretary for the Economy, Dr. Afonso Duarte Gonçalves Freitas, the representation will fall to a person to be designated, in each case, by the Regional Secretary for the Economy. This individual will be duly mandated to deliberate in the terms considered convenient for regional interests.
The Presidency of the Regional Government has rectified an order regarding the remuneration of a specialist technician.
Maria Inês Branquinho da Costa Neves assumes legal advisory duties in the Office of the President of the Regional Government starting May 1st.
