Regional Government supports five animation projects for the 2026 Flower Festival
The Regional Government Council of Madeira has authorized, through five separate resolutions, the signing of development and cooperation protocols aimed at supporting tourist animation projects integrated into the 2026 Flower Festival. These grants are intended to enrich the Allegorical Parade and the performances of participating groups, strengthening the promotion of the Madeira destination.
The beneficiary entities and their respective grants are as follows:
- ABM - Associação de Batucada da Madeira: Support of €23,227.27 for the project "Madeira em Flor, Aroma e Cor" (Resolution No. 203/2026).
- Associação FT - Fitness Team: Support of €26,727.27 for the project "Rise" (Resolution No. 204/2026).
- Nuvem D’Afectos - Associação Cultural e Recreativa: Support of €23,227.27 for the project "Madeira, do Ontem ao Atual - Florescer com Rigor" (Resolution No. 205/2026).
- Associação de Animação Geringonça: Support of €26,727.27 for the project "Serena" (Resolution No. 206/2026).
- João Egídio Andrade Rodrigues: Support of €15,000.00 for the project "50 Anos em Flor" (Resolution No. 207/2026).
The protocols, which remain in effect until December 30, 2026, were validated by the Regional Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Culture, acting as President, António Eduardo de Freitas Jesus, highlighting the executive's commitment to the cultural and tourist revitalization of the Region.
