The Regional Government Council has authorized, through Resolutions No. 201/2026 and No. 202/2026, the allocation of financial support intended to ensure the operation of various social and cultural entities in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. This measure aims to support rural and local development, recognizing the fundamental role these institutions play within their communities.
Under Resolution No. 201/2026, a total amount of €526,049.96 was authorized for 43 Casas do Povo. The list of beneficiaries includes:
Additionally, Resolution No. 202/2026 authorizes the signing of a program contract with the Association of Casas do Povo of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (ACAPORAMA), in the amount of €16,341.26, to support its coordination and representation activities for the 44 associated Casas do Povo during 2026.
The contracts are effective until December 31, 2026, with the process managed by the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Development.
