Regional Government supports 2026 Autonomy Padel Tournament
As part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Autonomy of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the Regional Government Council approved, through Resolution no. 546/2026, the signing of a program contract with Clube Quinta do Padel. The financial support, which will not exceed €70,000.00, aims to organize the 2026 Autonomy Padel Tournament.
The international event will take place at Praça do Povo, in Funchal, between September 25 and 27, 2026. The competition will feature the participation of 128 athletes from Madeira, the Azores, and the Canary Islands, strengthening ties between the outermost regions. The tournament infrastructure will include two competition courts and stands with a capacity for 326 seats.
