Regional Civil Protection Service delegates powers to Board of Directors
Through Deliberation no. 3/2026, the Board of Directors of the Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM (SRPC, IP-RAM), has delegated powers to its members: the President, Commander Richard Nunes Marques, and the Board Members, Superintendent Luís Miguel Teixeira Vieira and Master Edgar Nuno Freitas Rodrigues.
The measure, which takes effect from March 9, 2026, aims to optimize the institution's current and budgetary management. Key delegated powers include:
- President (Richard Nunes Marques): Budgetary management, authorization of expenses up to €108,750.00, and coordination of community projects.
- Board Member (Luís Miguel Teixeira Vieira): Budgetary management, expenses up to €29,000.00, and specific competencies in fire safety in buildings.
- Board Member (Edgar Nuno Freitas Rodrigues): Human resources management, tender procedures, and legal support, with authorization of expenses up to €29,000.00.
This deliberation revokes the previous rule no. 12/2026 and establishes a clear substitution regime to ensure service continuity in the event of absence or impediment of any of the members.
